Powerless: New Ranking Shows Sununu is 89th on List of Most Powerful Senators

"Today's power rankings confirm what New Hampshire voters already know: John E. Sununu has wasted the past six years he's been in the Senate," said Bill Lofy, director of the Stop Sununu campaign of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. "He is one of the weakest members of the Senate. Of his 99 colleagues, only 11 senators are less powerful than Sununu. As Sununu fails to make an impact in the Senate, New Hampshire families pay the price. We need a senator who knows how to get things done, understands the issues facing our state, and will deliver results. John E. Sununu had his chance to make a difference in the Senate, and he's been nothing more than a rubber stamp for President Bush and his special interest friends."
